In The Book of Revelation

Zofradis (or Zofrastis) the Nicolaitan, Priestess of Ephesus, hieratic daughter of Athene who lived for a period 350 years after the death of Socrates and 350 years before the death of Hypatia. Key agent in the Gnostic sabotage of the Book of Revelation.

Epiphanius [writing against the Gnostics] relates some details of the life of Nicolas the deacon, and describes him as gradually sinking into the grossest impurity, and becoming the originator of the Nicolaitans and other libertine Gnostic sects:
"[Nicolas] had an attractive wife, and had refrained from intercourse as though in imitation of those whom he saw to be devoted to God. He endured this for a while but in the end could not bear to control his incontinence.... But because he was ashamed of his defeat and suspected that he had been found out, he ventured to say, "Unless one copulates every day, he cannot have eternal life."
—Epiphanius, Panarion, 25, 1

7 Talk reposted January 2017: Special Effects in the Apocalypse + TEXT

Traditional Christian image of the Scarlet Woman (Lambeth Bible?)

Painting by Freida Harris adapted for the Thoth Tarot of skunkman A. Crowley, replacing Major Arcanum 11, called Strength or La Force in traditional decks.

MERANTHE DIOPTHRIDES, Priestess of Aphrodite from the island of Samothrace, represented in the "Winged Victory" of Samothrace, a headless sculpture dated to 190 BCE.

Memorial sculpture celebrating the indomitable spirit of Meranthe Diopthrides, falsely thought to have betrayed the spirit of womanhood by acting the role of "The Great Whore of Babylon."

"The Nike of Samothrace, discovered in 1863, is estimated to have been created around 190 BC. It was created to not only honor the goddess, Nike, but to honor a sea battle. It conveys a sense of action and triumph as well as portraying artful flowing drapery through its features which the Greeks considered ideal beauty." Wikipedia entry

*Note added January 2017:

The talks may be considered in close parallel with a series to be found in mythophrenia, namely: The Great Deception and The True Lucifer is Sophia. The six talks (two still in development) in these two groups present a close study of variations of the theme of GOOD VS EVIL or GOD VS SATAN, which is of course the main theme of Revelation.
